Renet Symyrenka Apple
Developed by Lev Symyrenko, a renowned pomologist, in the 1880s.

Symyrenka Apple is a fruit tree with a rich history, developed by the renowned Ukrainian pomologist Lev Symyrenko in the distant 1880s. The breeder set himself an ambitious goal: to create a variety that would combine excellent flavour, long storage capability, and reliability in Ukrainian climate conditions. The result exceeded expectations—the apple tree quickly gained popularity not only in Ukraine but also abroad, becoming one of the most valuable achievements of domestic agrarian science.
The tree blooms with delicate white flowers in April and May, creating true snowy crowns on its branches. It has an elegant, compact canopy of medium size, maintains its shape well, and looks wonderful throughout the entire growing season. The fruits are truly ornamental: smooth, golden-green with a light blush, possessing an incomparable honey flavour and remaining long on the branches. This is a classic dessert variety that deservedly occupies an honoured place in gardeners' collections.
In the garden, Symyrenka Apple thrives in sunny locations with loamy soil—precisely the conditions found throughout central and southern Ukraine. The tree requires regular watering but not excessive moisture, as it is quite hardy and undemanding in terms of care. It combines beautifully in garden compositions with other apples and pears, creating harmonious fruit-bearing groupings.
If you dream of growing apples that truly enrich your garden space and provide abundant harvests—Symyrenka awaits you. This is a tree with soul, bearing Ukrainian heritage and the enduring love of gardeners across generations.
