Symptoms of Verticillium Wilt

Sudden wilting of individual branches or entire plants. Leaves yellow and wilt from the bottom up. Dark discolouration in the woody tissue when cut. No recovery in severely affected plants.

How to treat Verticillium Wilt

No effective chemical treatment. Remove and destroy severely affected plants. Do not replant susceptible crops in the same soil for 4-5 years. Improve soil drainage and avoid wounding roots.
