Symptoms of Monilial Rot

Brown spots on fruit that spread rapidly. Fruits rot and mummify on the branch. Grey spore cushions visible on fruit surface. Flowers brown and wither, young shoots die back.

How to treat Monilial Rot

Spray with fungicides (Chorus, Score, Topsin-M) in spring before and after flowering. Collect and destroy mummified fruits. Whitewash trunks. Disinfect wounds with garden putty.
