Root Rot

Wilting despite adequate watering, yellowing leaves, stunted growth. Roots appear brown, soft and rotted. Collar area may show dark discolouration.

Improve drainage immediately — root rot is mainly caused by waterlogging. Remove severely affected plants. Treat soil with biological fungicides (Trichoderma). Avoid replanting susceptible species in the same spot.
