Symptoms of Shot Hole Disease

Small brown spots on leaves that fall out, leaving characteristic shot holes. Brown spots and gum oozing on shoots and fruit. Premature leaf and fruit drop.

How to treat Shot Hole Disease

Apply copper fungicides before bud burst and after harvest. Remove all fallen leaves and mummified fruit. Prune out infected shoots in autumn. Avoid overhead irrigation.
