Symptoms of Bulb Rot

Soft, brown rot of bulbs in storage or in the ground. Foul smell. White or pink mould on the surface. Plants fail to emerge or collapse soon after sprouting.

How to treat Bulb Rot

Inspect all bulbs before planting and discard any showing rot. Dust or soak bulbs in fungicide before storage. Improve storage ventilation and keep cool and dry. Rotate planting locations annually.
